WHAT STOPS YOU FROM GOING BACK
We all have life stories both
young and old. No matter what, there is/was something you did which you wish
you could roll back time to undo them, it’s too late probably. What then has
being the motivation from you going back to that old life or welcoming that
life once again? Some would say, MATURITY. I bet to differ on that. Maturity
rather propels experience in an act not to stop it. What Paul said in the bible
is different from what am discussing here. Paul’s argument was in relation to
spiritual growth when he mentioned that, “when I was a child, I acted as such
but now that am grown, I’ve placed all childishness aside”.
There are pastors who were
fornicators and mistakenly called themselves into the ministry and are still
fornicating, are they not grown yet? The very thing however which stops you
from going back has been “DETERMINATION”. It is very easy to go back so far as
you have been in a particular act before. I have always been that kind of a
kid, I want to try everything I hear to know the real truth behind it. Such an
act exposes you to lots of vices. If experience they say is the best teacher,
then I guess I am a lecturer in most activities.
Life has a way of bringing back
old memories, you can never forget them permanently unless you chop your head
off. Who says Kwame does not remember letting Adwoa abort a baby four years ago
OR Mansa does not remember haven
spent couple of nights on the bed of another man years back. They do, the same
storage facility you had in those years is the same as now, you have changed
from such acts, that is good news but be careful because you can easily adopt
them or they would have a way to Crip into your new life again. Ask yourself,
why it is such easy for Ex-Lovers to easily click back again or engage in the
act, it’s because they’ve being there(The act) before.
IF YOU ARE DETERMINED, THEN BE VERY DETERMINED
BEACAUSE YOUR LIFE HAS NO RECYCLE BIN, EVERYTHING IS IN THE HEAD AND THOSE WHO
CONTRIBUTED IN YOUR PAST LIFE ARE NOT DEAD YET. If you are naïve in almost
everything that your peers are experienced in, then you are gifted not to know,
be unique, stay focused and determined and save your life from bad reputation
because “YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE”.
